WH Cylinders operate an ISO9001:2008 quality control procedure which is audited annually by BSI.
The ISO 9001 quality policy and systems help to bring together WH Cylinder business objectives with our customer’s needs. Our approach to quality is embedded across our business, every employee understands how their actions create a better customer experience and through ISO9001 we have processes in place to continually review and improve our customer’s experience.
Where necessary WH Cylinders products are approved by the independent testing laboratory at KIWA.
Kiwa Ltd is an energy consultancy, Notified Body, UKAS-accredited testing laboratory and training centre with expertise in gas, oil, solid fuel, renewable technologies, construction materials, water and electricity.
KIWA test cooking and heating appliances, and those coming into contact with potable water. Also, appliances for which electrical safety, EMC compliance and EMF testing are necessary. On site we test waste, contaminated land, concrete, mortars and all manner of construction products, as well as stadia barriers and street lighting columns
The MCS Approved Installer certification scheme was introduced by the Government to ensure all products, designers, suppliers and installers meet benchmark standards to ensure that the technology is sold and installed fairly and to the highest level of quality.
Not only does this prevent non accredited installers from offering grant funding such as the RHI or green energy cash-back scheme, it gives consumer’s the confidence that the information they are provided with, the design and installation will be completed to the high standard expected. To achieve MCS accreditation companies must pass a stringent annual office and site assessment for each technology they design, supply or install.
They must also be a member of REAL which is a consumer code of conduct designed to protect the consumer. Both of these organisations carryout annual audits of all MCS companies to ensure theses high standards are maintained.
