Therefore, our dedicated insulation factory line enables us to pre-insulate vessels up to 4000L in capacity before they leave our UK manufacturing facility, ensuring consistent quality and optimal thermal performance.

Powder-Coated Steel Casing with Injection Insulation

For superior thermal performance and durability, our powder-coated mild steel cased cylinders with high-density polyurethane injection insulation provide the greatest insulation values. This method ensures a complete, void-free insulation layer that minimises thermal bridging.

Maximum Efficiency: Offers exceptionally low standing heat loss.
Durable Finish: The robust steel casing protects the insulation and cylinder from site damage and provides a clean, professional appearance.
Variety of Colours: Standard white gloss finish, with other colours potentially available on request for larger projects.

Foam Spray Insulation

We can apply polyurethane foam spray insulation to cylinders up to 500 litres in capacity. This method effectively covers the entire surface of the cylinder, providing good thermal insulation properties.

Good Thermal Performance: Reduces heat loss effectively for smaller to medium-sized domestic cylinders.
Seamless Coverage: Adheres directly to the cylinder surface, eliminating gaps.
Cost-Effective: A popular choice for many standard domestic applications.

Polyurethane Injection with Cased Finish (Commercial)

For large commercial calorifiers, we typically apply 50mm up to 100mm of high-density polyurethane injection insulation. This is subsequently encased in a durable steel outer casing, often with a grey painted or plastisol finish (other finishes may be available).
